Nowadays a lot of customers require remote tachograph downloads feature as a part of Fleet Management Systems. Our company has created several software and hardware components, which will ease for You the integration of such functionality.
The unit, which is designed to read vehicle data, error codes, statistics and other data from vehicles, is also available in a version with support for remote download of tachographs. It connects to your system via a serial line and is controlled via text commands. At the start, only the authorization of the company card is performed. The actual download then takes place completely autonomously and the data from the tachograph and from the driver card are stored in unit's internal FLASH memory. Subsequently, it is possible to download the finished files from the memory to the server.
A separate chip used in CAR2COM. The chip can be integrated into your own hardware.
COMPANY CARD AUTHORIZATION UNIT
A compact unit that includes a Raspberry PI and a smart card reader. This unit is used to insert the company card and processes requests from CAR2COM and the tachograph for authorization. The unit is usually located at the customer, where it is connected to the Internet and connects to the server. The customer thus does not give the company card "out of hand".
C ++ library or a ready-made application for data conversion from a DDD file (tachograph, driver card) to XML or JSON format. Available for Windows, Linux and BSD.
C ++ library or a ready-made application for data visualization from DDD file (tachograph, driver card). Based on the data, an HTML file is created containing the visualized data.
The integration of the remote download functionality then consists only in the implementation of forwarding data from CAR2COM via your server to the authorization unit and back and downloading the finished files from CAR2COM to the server. Here it is then possible to process the data using DDD2XML or visualize it using DDD2HTML.
As an option, you can also use an application to download the driver card using a smart card reader to your PC.
